Brand New Action for FileQube 2.0

You asked – and we listened. Hey. We even went the extra mile, too.

Take a look at the cool new features we’ve added to the FileQube 2.0 interface. We’re all about a great experience, and that’s just what this good-looking stuff gives you while you store, share and send!

Bigger, Better, Faster

We revived our popup windows animation so that windows open faster than ever before. Want big improvements? Check the “Performance” settings under the “Web Folders” subsection to customize your interface action.

More Files, More Icons

We hate ugly icons. So we revamped all our file type icons to be smooth and slick. Oh, and we changed the look of the folder icon. (Yes, we know. Again.) Not only have we fine tuned our fine-looking icons, we’ve added more file types. That means FileQube recognizes .HTML, .FLA, .SWF, and .MOV files easily!

Drag and Drop a Lot!

We love drag and drop, and so does just about everyone we know. Our new FileQube interface brings drag and drop functionality into the Classic List view mode. Yay!

How Smart Can You Be?

We made a really smart toolbar. You can see all the actions, and they’re clearly visible, but when they’re not being used? They dim out so you can minimize the distractions and be way more efficient.

Revamp, Review and Revise

Our main menu needed some help with usability, so we injected it with more actions to make your life easier and better usability to reduce those little leftover frustrations.

Big or Small, We Do It All

Like things big? Like ‘em small? You can resize all your windows to just the right size for your eyes. Drag the edges to resize to the best fit, and the content will be easier to see. Our liquid layout helps you see exactly what you want.

A Little More Action?

The more you can do, the happier you are, which means you’ll have a great time with the brand new actions we’ve added to FileQube.

Now you can copy files in FileQube, and you can even copy whole folders too. It’s just more convenient and time-saving. There’s a revised dialog window, too, and you can even add subfolders on the fly.

For those times you want a little more space or a little extra vision? Just one click lets you collapse or expand tree items.

Now how’s that for getting what you want? Pretty good, we’d say!

Hi guys, I like the concept of FQ and I like new features you implemented BUT I can’t sign up with the website!
I filled in my info but didn’t receive confirmation email and when I click on Contact (to tell you about this problem) page doesn’t load at all. When I clicked on Forgot password? (to try and retrieve confirmation somehow) it gives me page error. When I tried to sign up again with same email it doesn’t let me, because it says account already exists…but I can’t get to it!

Can you do something about it?!

Hi guys, i really like the layout & design of FQ, and if not the only, it’s certainly one of the reason why i join FQ in the first place.

but please, is there a chance that you may remove the “only 10 files to be queue” cap? I think it will be more helpful if the cap is on filesize, not amount of files on queue. I have lots of document that i wanna put on FQ, and lots of it are small documents…if i queue 10 of them at a time, it will take forever for me to finish the upload. :(

So please, can you guys remove the cap? Or is there anyway i could use the service to upload more than 10 files at the same time?

Perfect. This place is getting better everytime I come in once in a while. I like it. You know what would be great though is being able to extract zip and rar files just like you would on a computer. That’s probably impossible to code, but that would be pretty cool. It would also allow for faster uploads too since there are less files to upload at a time and less space to cram in as well. Other than that, I likes it. One of the best websites I use. (It’s on my Opera Speed Dial)

@ Tamara: The issue with emails was resolved. I apologize for not replying sooner but such requests are better directed by using the contact tab on the web site as we’re 100% focused on working out the bugs of 2.0 for launch. Please let me know.

@ Gagahput3ra: We understand this is an inconvenience for some users and rest assured that we’re working on a solution that will allow for drag & drop of multiple files at a time. It’s part of our development roadmap and a big feature request by many users.

@ Eagleeyes1990: Thanks for the suggestion. We’re exploring this option right now. There’s some small concerns functionality of such a tool however we will keep you posted on this.

Just discovered this site and it’s just perfect. I was searching for a file storage site that allow direct download link for some PDF I need to share with some scholars.

Thanks for this service you’re providing!
Just to say thanks, I know itsn’t too much, but sometimes it’s nice to hear that :)

I really like this site, the layout is very modern which I like. It also has many functions, and it’s improving quite well, I found out about this website from a chinese computer magazine, but if it’s good enough for a magazine, it’s good enough for me. =D

Dont you have a help section? Something to learn how to do the widgets?
    Thanks!

@Kathy: We’re currently working on integration of a new support system and support policy for FQ. The focus of the current upgrade was to get the 2.0 platform running and upgrade our network. We realize that one major component we lack is some “guidance” on how to properly use and configure the FileQube service so this is our next priority.

Some planned support tools that will soon be introduced are:
    - Community Forum
    - Self-Help Knowledgebase
    - Screencasts
    - Email Ticketing

We realize that this doesn’t address your immediate needs so please feel free to email as @ support (at) fileqube.com anytime you have any questions and answer them promptly.
